RM2HXE0FX–Comparettia falcata is an epiphytic species of orchid, widespread across much of the warmer parts of the Western Hemisphere: Mexico, Belize, Central America, the West Indies and South America. From Iconographie des Orchidees, a magazine of botanical illustrations published by Jean Jules Linden (1817-1898) was a Belgian botanist, explorer and horticulturist who specialised in orchids.
