have to download from Microsoft website to load contents of the provided disk. The disk says USB is not compatible but has a USB port on the back. The only included cord is a USB. This item should be ready out of the box instead of having to program everything. It would be better if an example spreadsheet was already loaded on the disk and keys set up as examples so the user can see how everything is formatted.
User needs to set BAUD rates and other parameters. For $200 it should be set up so an average laptop can send and receive data. I'm sorry I bought this.

I have owned and operated many cash registers in my 35 years in retail. This is by far the cheesiest, most complicated and hardest to use. The drawer is plastic. The manual is written in pidgin- makes no sense at all and there is no 'no sale' key. Provided I can ever get it to function, it MIGHT be worth a quarter of its price. Do not buy this.
