Michelle Yeoh has entered the multiverse of ever-changing and indelible red carpet looks. The celebrated actor attended the 34th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival on Thursday night wearing an absurdist Schiaparelli Couture outfit that felt fit for a quantum leap straight out of Everything Everywhere All at Once

Fresh from Schiaparelli’s fall 2022 couture collection, the look feels spiritually aligned with Yeoh’s acclaimed performance in the absurdist action film, where she travels through multiple universes and fights bizarre creatures. Yeoh adapted the ensemble, designed by Daniel Roseberry, slightly by wearing opaque black leggings with the voluminous satin skirt (which resembles a rose) and a structural orange crop top intricately adorned with sequins and gems. Equal parts Salvador Dalí and Parisian elegance.

Yeoh has deftly transformed herself into a “Schiaparelli girl” during the exhilarating awards circuit run for Everything Everywhere. She’s made Roseberry’s signatures her own at various points over the past few months: the oversized brim hat, surrealist jewelry, expertly tailored A-line gowns. If there’s one universe Yeoh feels at home in this awards season, it seems to be Rosenberry’s inarguably singular one.
