A traditional bakery that features in Emily in Paris wants fans of the Netflix comedy-drama to stop denigrating it online for failing to live up to the show’s fantasy take on the French capital.

La Boulangerie Moderne, a 19th-century bakery on Rue des Fossés Saint-Jacques, is experiencing the mixed blessing that has befallen several sites in Paris after three seasons charting the romantic adventures in Paris of a young American, played by Lily Collins.
