Cue up Iron & Wine's “Flightless Bird, American Mouth” because Bella, where have you been, loca?! Jacob is getting married. Twilight jokes aside, Taylor Lautner is officially engaged, proposing to Tay Dome on Thursday, November 11.
Sharing the exciting news on Instagram, Taylor posted a carousel of images from the big night. In the first photo, the former Twilight star is down on one knee, holding out a ring for Tay. In the background, a custom neon sign that reads Lautner is lit up. “And just like that, all of my wishes came true,” the actor captioned the post.
Tay also celebrated the occasion with an Instagram post, writing, “My absolute best friend. I CANNOT WAIT TO SPEND FOREVER WITH YOU.”
According to People, Taylor asked the big question with help from a custom-designed oval-cut diamond ring from Ring Concierge.

Since sharing the news of their engagement, multiple loved ones have left celebratory Instagram comments, including Taylor's sister Makena, who wrote, "I'M FINALLY GETTING A SISTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Taylor's Twilight costar Nikki Reed commented, “Oh my goodness! This makes me want to cry! Wow!! Congrats to you both," while Patrick Schwarzenegger shared an idea for the ceremony, writing, “IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU! LOVE YOU. And yes I’ll be the flower boy.”

The pair publicly confirmed their relationship with a Halloween social media post back in 2018. Tay, a former nursing student, is friends with Taylor's sister, Makena Moore. After going public with their love, the two frequently posed for adorable social media posts, chronicling many of their dating moments.
There's no word on a confirmed wedding date, but news of Taylor's engagement comes as another Twilight star prepares for wedded bliss. Earlier this month, Kristen Stewart announced her engagement to Dylan Meyer. Unfortunately, Bella's wedding ring has already gone to auction, so it looks like Taylor has to do some shopping.
