The Peruvian Apple cactus is highly prized for its wonderful large, lightly scented flowers the last only one night. Mature plants can produce as many as a dozen or more flowers at one time. Drench thoroughly but allow to dry between watering, frost tender, cover tips with styrofoam cups at night when temperatures drop to prevent frostbite.
