Plagiotremus rhinorhynchosis commonly referred to as Bluestriped Blenny, Bluestriped Fangblenny, Cleaner Mimic, Tube-worm Blenny. Difficulty in the aquarium: Only for advanced aquarists. A aquarium size of at least 150 Liter is recommended. Toxicity: Toxic hazard unknown.

Jumping guard
A jumping guard prevents (nocturnal) fish from jumping out.
Wrasses, blennies, hawkfishs and gobies jump out of an unprotected tank in fright if their night rest is disturbed, unfortunately these jumpers are found dried up in the morning on carpets, glass edges or later behind the tank.

A small night light also helps, as it provides the fish with a means of orientation in the dark!

Jungtiere imitieren den Putzer-Lippfisch Labroides dimidiatus. Säbelzahn-Schleimfische der Gattung Plagiotremus ernähren sich in der Natur auch dadurch, dass sie Stücke aus anderen Fischen reißen. Manchmal werden auch Taucher angegriffen.
Sicher nicht in einem normalen Becken haltbar, wenn, dann sollten die Tiere in einem Artbecken gehalten werden.
