Noctilionoid bat cladogram, April 2019

As you'll remember if you've been here for a while, I've now done drawings of representatives of most bat lineages... though more are still needed. I decided recently to write an introductory article to one of my favourite bat groups - the phyllostomids, or New World leaf-nosed bats - and needed a cladogram of phyllostomids and their close relatives for that article. Hence this. The phyllostomid (it's Vampyrum, the False vampire) needs replacing because that drawing is copied from someone else's work (something I aim not to do for The Big Book's illustrations). I'll be returning to bats in time, but for now I'm still busy with reptiles.

Anyway, the TetZoo phyllostomid article is now online...  http://tetzoo.com/blog/2019/4/12/the-new-world-leaf-nosed-bat-radiation

It's your support that enables me to make the time to do articles like this, so thanks :) While I'm here, I know full well that I OWE SOME OF YOU BOOKS. I need to buy new stock, and once I've done that I'll be sending them out. Sorry it's taken me so long, I so struggle with time.
