Epidendrum ciliare

Epidendrum ciliare

$35.00

Epidendrum species native to Mexico and montane forests of Central and South America. Flowers are fragrant, with a citrusy scent.

Grown from seed.

Plants Available: Growing 4” pots. Plants are blooming-size. An example of those currently available is pictured.

Orchid Care: For many growers, general Cattleya care applies well to this species—bright indirect light; let dry between waterings. In our growing environment, younger plants have responded best to growing in intermediate light with high humidity, potted in tree fern substrate. As plants mature, mount or pot in a well-draining bark mix; allow thorough drying between waterings.
