Jacob's Ladder has been cultivated in gardens since Roman times for it's attractive ferny foliage and abundant blue, early summer flowers.

Very easy to grow in partial shade in most soil conditions. This is a good plant to grow beneath deciduous trees where they cope well with diminishing light and dry conditions. Self-sows freely. Deadhead to reduce reseeding and to encourage quick rebloom.
