  1. Was this cultivated? I ask because the distribution for Mammillaria geminispina is in central Mexico. So, if it wasn't purposely planted, it might not be Mammillaria geminispina, although it does really look like it.

      But, I have no idea if there are similar species that would grow wild in your area (if the plant in your photo wasn't cultivated).
