Orlando Bloom is opening up about being a dad—and it might be the sweetest thing you read all day. In a new interview with People, Bloom shared what he thinks is the most important part of family time, something just about any parent can relate to. Bloom, who is set to star in a three-part Peppa Pig wedding special, shares a daughter, Daisy Dove, with his fiancée Katy Perry, and a 13-year-old son named Ryder with his ex, model Miranda Kerr.

"Family time is, for me, a meal together. Sitting down at a table," Bloom said. He went on to say that he's not that focused on big spectacles or showy ways to express his love. Instead, he's laser-focused on small things that anyone can do, even if they're not linked up with a pop star or model. "It is going out on a walk or going on an adventure. It's games, it's play. It's connection. It's holding hands and hugging. And telling people you love them a lot."

Perry also gave a rare comment about her daughter, telling People that Daisy is a "combination of both me and her father." Daisy made headlines when she attended her mother's Las Vegas residency in November 2023.

“We are fearless with lots of chutzpah and just big characters. So, the combination of us both is definitely coming out," Perry explained in 2022. Like her mother, Daisy has a penchant for over-the-top ensembles. For her appearance in Vegas, the 3-year-old wore a Minnie Mouse costume.

“I love you so much,” Perry said from the stage when her daughter appeared on the screen behind her. “You’re my best friend, I’m so glad you’re here.”

“When I met her, it was like all the love I was ever searching for finally showed up. She made me whole,” Perry told the audience. “This show is for everyone's inner child and for the hope that maybe if we could all see life through the eyes of a child, we would be free.”
