Scaphyglottis sickii has a wide distribution from Grenada to Peru and central and eastern Brazil.
Includes: the Windward Islands, Trinidad & Tobago, Surinam, French Guiana, Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil.

Habitat 4

This orchid grows as an epiphyte on trees in a very wide range of habitats, from 0 to 1,000 m, over a minimum of 12 ecoregions. This orchid has been collected in lowland and montane primary rainforest, in scrub, in savanna, rocky savanna, riparian grasslands and on isolated rocky hills and table-top mountains.

Description 3

A mini-miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte that can bloom at most any time of the year.
