Cereus repandus seeds are approximately 1mm long. Our farm has had better luck getting flowers to set fruit after cross pollination was able to occur from different plants grown from seed (not clone cuttings from the same plant). We recommend growing atleast three cacti and planting them near each other to get fruit set. Our cacti grown from seed are about four years old and are 3-8' tall and have not flowered yet. We do not know how long they take to flower from seed. These cacti are nearly impossible to kill unless you overwater them. They will grow in nearly any type of soil and can make it through the Florida winter drought for months without water.
