I really can't say enough positive things about the Furminator! I bought the larger size tool for our short hair dogs (a Catahoula and lab/pit mix) and it works excellent on them. I'm amazed every time I use it (at least once a week) at how much excess hair this thing pulls off. I've even used it on our long-haired cats and although it's a bit large for their size, it still works. It removes so much from them, I could make a new cat out of all it pulls off....
