Wedding bells are ringing for Oscar-winning actress Michelle Yeoh! That's because after a 19-year engagement (6992 days to be exact), Yeoh and her longtime partner, ex-Ferrari CEO, Jean Todt officially tied the knot in a private ceremony in Geneva. The July 27, 2023 nuptials were announced on Instagram by ex-Formula One driver Felipe Massa who posted a series of photos, including one of the newlywed's wedding program.

"We met in Shanghai on 4th June 2004. On 26th July 2004, J.T proposed to marry M.Y and she said YES,” the program read. "Today after 6992 days on 27th July 2023 in Geneva, surrounded by loving family and friends, we are so happy to celebrate this special moment together!” Massa captioned the post with "Happy marriage #JeanTodt & #michelleyeoh love you so much. ❤️❤️"

The Brazilian race car driver also shared several other pictures from the ceremony, revealing Yeoh's two bridal looks: a white, silk button-down shirt paired with a tiered, ruffled maxi skirt, and a lace, corset gown with embellishments on the bodice. Her main accessory for the night? Instead of a wedding bouquet, Yeoh opted to ditch tradition and carry her Oscar trophy, better known as "Mr. O." As for the groom, he kept things simple, sporting a navy blue suit and a light blue tie.

In a 2021 interview with The Guardian, the actress first gave fans a glimpse into her love life with the former CEO. When asked about her relationship and engagement with Todt, she jokingly told the publication, “We’ve been threatening to get married for such a long time. Sometimes we say, ‘Wait, didn’t we already do it?’”

This year marks a pivotal time for Yeoh, who won an Oscar for Best Actress on March 12, 2023, making her the first Asian woman to win the category in the Academy's 95-year history. Recognized for her role in Everything Everywhere All at Once, the actress won against Hollywood veterans Cate Blanchett, Michelle Williams, Ana de Armas, and Andrea Riseborough.

In her acceptance speech, which moved many to tears, Yeoh stated "For all the little boys and girls who look like me watching tonight, this is a beacon of hope and possibilities. This is proof that dreams do come true. And ladies, don’t let anyone tell you that you are past your prime.” It was also during the Academy Awards when she wore a bridal-inspired ensemble, her first of many wedding-worthy moments. On the red carpet, she stunned in a sleeveless, feather-embellished Dior Couture gown, which she accessorized with Moussaieff diamond earrings and a headband.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
