Diet Coke, Sprite, and Fanta Recalled Due to Potential Foreign Material

According to the FDA, Diet Coke, Sprite, and Fanta cans have been pulled from store shelves in Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi due to "potential foreign material" inside the soda cans. Even though the packages are now off store shelves in the three Southern states, consumers may still have the affected cans in their homes, particularly when people stock up for holiday celebrations.

What to Do if You Have Recalled Soft Drinks

If you have any full or partial packages of these recalled Coca-Cola products, do not consume the drinks. Immediately discard them or return them to your place of purchase for a refund—even if a few cans from a package have been consumed and you’ve had no noticeable issues.
