Was so excited to receive this plant . And every leaf was in poor health and was browning and had bites out of all of it. Really gutted. Was hoping this starter tree would be amazing. But far from it :-(
The picture posted bears NO resemblance to the small, squashed live thing that arrived here. It has been more than a month and I am still trying to get it to stand up straight.
I purchased this plant after having called a few nurseries. I more or less was advised against getting this plant for my location. Summers are hot and windy here. I decided to take a chance anyway. The plant arrived well packaged and in good shape. It was approximately 2-3 feet tall with a small trunk and no flowers. I planted it in a larger container to decide where I want to put it later. I have it on my patio where it gets part sun/shade and is somewhat blocked from the wind, and it is developing some new leafs now. If it doesn't survive, that would be on me because of my location - not the plant or seller. After I plant it, and if it survives, I will post a picture.
First off the product looks nothing like the picture posted. We literally got a twig. My husband did say it had a decent root ball so it is planted and we hope it grows into something. Packaging was terrible, it came in a box in the mail. Box was damaged and punctured, the tree was shoved inside along with some garbage. When they sealed the box they tossed all the labeling garbage inside, how thoughtful!
