Orlando Bloom's son had some thoughts about his training process for his new adventure series.

Speaking to PEOPLE about his travel series To the Edge, the actor, 47, shared that his son Flynn, 13, whom he shares with ex Miranda Kerr, 40, stopped by one of the days of filming to see his dad's wingsuit training — and his son wasn't thrilled at the idea of joining him in the air.

"He came to the jump site and was like, 'Hell no, Dad,' " Bloom recalls. "I said, 'Come up in the plane.' Like, 'Hell no.'"

"Daisy's been climbing stairs since she's a baby. So I feel like she's going to be the one for that," the Pirates of the Caribbean star says of his 3-year-old daughter, whom he shares with longtime partner Katy Perry, 39. "Maybe, we'll see. But I think hopefully they'll be able to look back and be like, 'Yeah, he did that.'"

In September, Kerr shared that she has a great co-parenting relationship with Bloom, adding that the two families even take trips together while speaking to Access Hollywood.

"Evan [Spiegel] is my partner for the last nine years and now we have our family and Katy [Perry] and Orlando have Daisy. It's like we're a blended family," she said.

"And we go on family vacations together, we enjoy each others' company, it's great," Kerr told the outlet.

Kerr has previously discussed her co-parenting relationship with Bloom and Perry in conversation with WSJ Magazine Editor Kristina O'Neill for The Wall Street Journal's The Future of Everything Festival, sharing that she "adores" the singer.

"I just feel so happy that Orlando found someone that makes him happy, because at the end of the day, for Flynn to have a happy father and a happy mother is the most important thing," said Kerr.

"Flynn has always been the priority for me and making sure that he felt safe and he felt, you know, comfortable. Just putting his needs first, like, 'Is this in the best interest of Flynn,' no matter what we did."

"Even when we were separating, I thought, 'Is this in the best interest of Flynn?' And I was like, 'Yes, it really is,' " she added. "If you put everything in that perspective it takes it away from anything too personal between you and your ex. It really makes it about the child."
