Chocolate “Salami” Recipe

This chocolate salami is the perfect addition to your holiday cookie tray! It's fun, festive and made with delicious superfood ingredients. Just don't try to make a deli sandwich with it!

INGREDIENTS

1 lb. biscuit cookies

1 cup chopped pecans

4 Tbsp. Navitas Organics Chia Seeds

⅓ cup Navitas Organics Goji Berries

½ cup Navitas Organics Cacao Powder

¾ cup + 2 Tbsp. butter, softened at room temperature

½ cup sweetened condensed milk

⅓ cup dulce de leche

DIRECTIONS

Using a blender or food processor, rough chop the biscuit cookies into small pieces. 

Combine the chopped cookies with the pecans, softened butter, chia seeds, goji berries, and cacao powder.

Add in the dulce de leche and sweetened condensed milk. Combine with a spatula or your hands.

Scoop out one cup of the salami batter onto plastic wrap or parchment paper. Shape into a log and secure tightly by twisting the ends of the plastic wrap/parchment paper.

Freeze the logs for a few hours, or until hardened.

Dust with powdered sugar before slicing. Enjoy!
