15. Pony Masks

To make My Little Pony masks out of my pictures, you’re going to use illustrations where the pony’s faces are looking directly (or mostly directly) outward.

You’ll likely have to cut and paste just the faces and then resize them to take up the entire document (so they’ll fit your kids’ faces).

Once you’ve done that, print them off and have your kids color them in and cut them out.

They’ll punch holes on either side of the ponies’ faces and tie off enough ribbon or string so that it’ll make a bow behind their head.

You can add a yarn “mane” to the top of the masks for a finishing touch!

14. Curling Ribbon Mane Ponies

Give Starlight, Sweetheart, and Melody the manes they deserve with different shades of curling ribbon.

You’ll have your kids pick out which ponies they want to bring to life; they’ll color them in and cut them out, carefully snipping off any coloring page mane they might have.

Then, they will strategically punch holes: near the eyes, behind the ears, where the neck meets the back, and naturally, where the tail goes.

Then they can take pieces of curling ribbon and tie them off inside the holes.

If they’re old enough, they can use scissors to curl the ribbon; if not, they can wind it up using a pencil or crayon, holding it for a few seconds and then releasing it.

13. My Little Pony Jewelry

To make My Little Pony jewelry, you will need shrink sheets, which you can buy online at sites like Amazon.

You’ll also need jewelry notions – earring backs or hooks, chains, and O-rings for necklaces, bracelets, anklets, etc.

You’ll have your kids pick out which ponies they want to use, print the illustrations on the shrink sheets, and then color them in and cut them out.

Then, you’ll also want to think ahead about where you want the jewelry pieces to attach; punch holes in the cut-outs once you’ve figured that out.

Bake off the shrink sheet cut-outs per the instructions, then wait for them to cool completely.

Once they’re ready, you can affix all the little jewelry notions (you might also need a hot glue gun to attach some earring backs).

Then, show off your new jewelry – do a fashion show or take pics and post them to Instagram!

12. Paper Doll Ponies

9. Calendars

Then they’ll cut them out and punch holes where they want the keychain accessories to attach.

Bake them off per your specific shrink sheet’s instructions and wait for them to cool completely.

Once they’ve cooled, you can attach the keychain hardware and attach any keys they might have.

7. Bookmarks

Sit them down at a table with a vinyl tablecloth or some sort of drop cloth, and make sure they’re wearing clothes that can get a little, well, messy.

If they’re using glue and glitter, they’ll outline or fill the lines with the glue first and then sprinkle the glitter on second.
