10 Craft Ideas To Do With Fighter Jet Coloring Pages
Fighter jets are interesting and exciting, and youngsters love to color them.
Here are 10 affordable, fun, and creative craft ideas you can do with your completed coloring page!
1. Classroom Fun with Fighter Jets
For this engaging classroom activity, separate the children into four groups and have them color the fighter jets of their choice.
Each group should then be given a long piece of colorful yarn and a hole punch.
After a small hole is made at the top of each fighter jet, the youngsters should string them together vertically, making a loop at the top and a knot at the bottom.
There is now an original hanging ornament for each corner of the room!
2. Design a Desktop Fighter Jet
The fighter jet wings and body should be cut out separately from the coloring page to begin this craft.
Next, cut and bend a piece of poster board into the shape of a jet body, and laminate it with that section of the coloring page. Cut a small slit on each side of the “body.”
Another piece of posterboard should be cut in the appropriate shape and pushed through both slits to create instant “wings” on either side.
The wing cutouts can then be glued to this section, resulting in a lifelike fighter jet!
3. Make a Puppet Style Fighter Jet
When your child’s fighter jet is colored, it should be glued to thin cardboard or poster board, and four separate holes punched in the head, tail, and wings.
Two large craft sticks should be glued together to form a cross, and string should be tied to the end of each stick.
The other end of the string is then threaded through the holes in the fighter jet, and your youngster has a unique jet puppet he or she can “fly” anywhere!
4. Recycling Fun
If empty plastic soda bottles are piling up, combine them with those finished coloring pages to create this entertaining craft.
The empty bottle should be laminated with the fighter jet coloring page, and a tail and wings can be cut from bright-colored poster board and glued to the body.
Orange and red streamers are tied to the jet’s tail, and when the child flies the jet through the air, these will fan out, creating a ” fire ” trail.”
5. Fighter Jet Takeoff
Start this craft by turning a shoe box upside down and cutting off the long sides and one of the short sides.
The remainder creates the perfect runway when the center portion is bent down. Black construction paper with chalk lines can be added for a realistic look.
Once the youngster has finished coloring a fighter jet, it should be glued to thin cardboard and cut from the page, leaving a small tab at the bottom.
The tab can be bent sideways and used to glue the fighter jet to the “runway” for takeoff!
6. Making a Scene in Class
For this enjoyable classroom activity, give each child a large piece of poster board on which to draw a scene.
It can be a war scene, an “air show” scene, or even one depicting the child doing something daring.
Each child can then color a fighter jet, cut it out, and add it to the poster in the desired spot.
