My cactus has a brown dried area@on its leaf. What causes this?

I’m propagating this piece of cactus and I was wondering if anyone had any tips! This is my first time doing this!

How big do these get? Do they need support? Lots of new growth on mine.

We've finally woken up here in the "north!" After a loooooong 6 month dormancy, every one of these guys is alive and popping off. Tons of new pads coming, and even the pads that broke off during planting made it through the winter and are growing. Pleasantly surprised that I didn't lose any during their first big freeze! These wierd green buds have started appearing on my angel wing cactus are they new leaves ?

Umm same cactus ?

Do you know why it’s that colour? It was drying out too so I moved it to another spot and it got better next day but I’m still concerned about the colour…

How should I proceed?

This is probably a bit of a foolish question, but is the flower actually real?
