Byrrhus is a genus of pill beetles in the family Byrrhidae. There are at least 30 described species in Byrrhus.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]

The correct date for this genus is 1767 ^[5] (#195), as it was not listed in 1758.^[6] B. pilula (Linnaeus, 1758) was listed under the genus Dermestes in the 10th edition (#18).
