Description | A Hungarian dormouse, Dryomys nitedula nitedula (Pallas), from Hungary (left) and an English dormouse, Muscardinus avellanarius avellanarius (Linnaeus), (right). The specimens were presented to the National History Collections in 1937 by Dr P C Koller of the University's Institute of Animal Genetics, and were mounted and cased by Wotherspoon of Edinburgh for the sum of �1 each. |
