Common Name The Grass-Like Leaf Thelymitra - In Australia The Shy Sun Orchid

Flower Size .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm]

Found in Western Australia at elevations of 50 to 350 meters in open forests, woodlands, shrublands and on granite rocks as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single leaf that blooms in the spring in Australia on an erect, 12" to 20" [30 to 50 cm] long, 3 to 10 flowered inflorescence with successively opening flowers.
