Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in Bolivia near La Paz at elevations around 750 to 1800 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with closely spaced, cylindrical, slightly flattened pseudobulbs carrying a single, erect to suberect, coriaceous, oblong-lanceolate, obtuse, narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the late summer on a basal, 18" [45 cm] long, rigid, erect, paniculate inflorescence with 4" [10 cm] long branches carrying 10 to 15 flowers.
